Every month, one lucky artist will be profiled in our newsletter, The Monthly Blaze, the world’s only newsletter devoted entirely to the world of UV effects. The first winner will be announced in the August 2007 newsletter.

In addition to instant fame, the winner will receive a $100 Wildfire gift certificate good toward any Wildfire purchase. (Wildfire sells professional-grade black light fixtures, luminescent paint, and other UV-related materials designed to produce the brightest possible UV effect.)

Here’s how to enter…

To enter, you must be on our list to receive The Monthly Blaze.
Send a few of your best photos of the same piece of artwork (under both white light and black light if its a dual image effect), along with a short bio and all contact information, to contest@wildfirefx.com.
You must have print-quality photos available for your artwork to be considered, as some images will be printed in the newsletter.
Do not send photos of more than one piece of artwork in the same email. To enter another piece of artwork, send it in a separate email.
Each piece of art must have been completed within a year before submission.
Do not send photos of the same piece of artwork more than once.
All entries are valid for one year, and go into a pool from which winners are selected each month.
There are no age restrictions to enter, and the contest is open to both amateurs and professionals.
Only individuals—not business entities—may enter. An individual artist working for any business may enter, but the individual artist—and not the business entity—will receive credit.
Entrants cannot win more than once in any given year, and preference will be given to those who have not won previously.
The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing and will receive a $100 gift certificate good toward any purchase at Wildfire.
